The Zero Turn 10 is unlike other full-size scooters. It is the first full-size 4-Wheel scooter made with indoor functionality in mind. Using Pride's iTurn technology, the Zero Turn 10 utilizes dual motors to minimize the turning radius of this 4-Wheel scooter. It has the turning radius of a 3-Wheel scooter with the stability of a 4-Wheel. To give some perspective the chassis length of the scooter is 48", but it makes turns in 43" It is the best of both worlds in one reliable, maneuverable package.
Comfort-Trac Suspension ensures a smoother ride. The rear drive train and front wheel utilize Pride's industry-first CTS suspension, improving shock absorption over various terrains. Anyone who has spent time on a Tucson sidewalk or road knows what a blessing this can be.
The Zero Turn 10 has a weight limit of 400 lbs and a range of approximately 18 miles at that weight. If you are lucky enough to be less than 200 lbs that max ranges goes up to a whopping 24 miles. The battery can be charged from the easy access tiller charging port, or the scooter can be left where it is and just the battery can be taken and charged from it's front mounted charging port.
The Delta tiller allows for one handed operation, with the ability to go forward or reverse on either side. Adjust the speed from a snail's pace up to a down-right fast 7.2 mph. That's almost twice as fast as a Go-Go Elite! With the iTurn technology providing a 43" turning radius you should have no problems maneuvering around prickly pears, through doorways or circling a Saguaro!
The Zero Turn 10 has a full lighting package including a LED headlights and tail lights with sequential turn signals. It even has a puddle light under the tiller so you can find the right key or pull out correct change. It also includes plenty of standard features such as wrap-around, angle-adjustable Delta tiller, non-marking tires, an easy-to-clean floor mat, a bright led power gauge, and a removable basket.
The plush, vinyl sliding seat is mounted on a height adjustable, forward-set post increasing stability. The 18" wide seat swivels 360 degrees so you can pull up to a table then just swivel the seat into position. It features flip-back armrests, assisting with getting in and out of the scooter. The seat can also be upgraded to a 20" or 22" wide seat.
The Zero Turn 10 has a feather touch disassembly just like Pride's travel scooter series. The Zero turn 10 can be disassembled and put in a vehicle in a pinch. However, in our experience, this option is best reserved for when you have able-bodied help able to move 75 lbs into a large trunk or cargo space. If you will be transporting this scooter regularly a car lift might be a good option.
